• Donation & Financial Records: Donor names, contact details, donation amounts and payment status entered by mandal committees.
• Event & Member Data: Event details, member names, roles and permissions added within the platform.
• Usage Data: Log information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected automatically.
• Communications: Messages you send us through the Contact form, email or WhatsApp.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate and maintain the Utsav platform;
• Generate donation receipts, reports and public mandal pages;
• Respond to enquiries and provide customer support;
• Improve platform features and user experience;
• Send important service updates and, where consented to, newsletters.

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

• Mandal committee administrators, for data entered under their own mandal;
• Payment processors, solely to complete donation transactions;
• Service providers who help us operate the platform, under confidentiality obligations;

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect information stored on our platform. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Pricing & Access Periods

Utsav offers simple, transparent pricing plans designed specifically for Ganesh Mandals. Here's how our plans work:

During Your Active Plan Period: You get full access to everything:

• Unlimited Donors & Receipts — Add as many donors as you want, no limits
• Unlimited WhatsApp Sharing — Send donation receipts via WhatsApp without any restrictions
• Full Management Access — Add, update, and manage all your donations, expenses, events, and member records
• Complete Dashboard — View all reports, analytics, and manage your mandal's public page

After Your Plan Period Ends (45 or 180 Days):

• View-Only Access: You can still see all your donation records, expense entries, and reports
• Cannot Add or Edit: You won't be able to add new donations, edit existing entries, or delete records
• Data Stays Safe: Your data remains stored and viewable for 1 year (365 days) after your plan ends
• Renew Anytime: If you renew your plan within 1 year, you get full access back immediately
• Download Your Data: You can export all your data (CSV/Excel) even when in view-only mode

Important Dates to Remember:

• Single Festival Plan: 45 days of full access from the day you purchase
• Multi-Festival Plan: 180 days of full access from the day you purchase
• View-Only Period: 365 days (1 year) after your plan expires
• After 1 Year: Data may be archived and permanently deleted unless you renew

7. Data Retention

We keep your mandal's data according to the following schedule:

• During Active Plan: Full access to all your data with complete management rights
• After Plan Expiry (0–365 Days): View-only access. Your data is preserved but you cannot add, edit, or delete anything
• After 365 Days: Data may be permanently removed from our servers unless you renew your plan
• Export Your Data: You can download your data anytime, even in view-only mode

We keep data as long as needed for accounting, legal, and dispute-resolution purposes as required by law.

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
