1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Utsav platform, including our website, dashboard and any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated for Ganesh Mandals to manage donations, expenses, events and member records.

By registering for or using Utsav, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of your mandal to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration and mandal information;
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
• All activity that occurs under your account.

3. Use of the Platform

Utsav grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform to manage your mandal's donations, expenses, events and members, in accordance with these Terms. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes connected with mandal administration.

4. Donations & Payments

Where the Platform is used to record or facilitate donations, mandal committees are solely responsible for the accuracy of donation records, issuing receipts, and complying with any applicable laws governing charitable or community contributions. Utsav is not a party to the transaction between a donor and a mandal and does not guarantee or endorse any specific mandal.

5. Content & Data Ownership

Your mandal retains ownership of the donation, expense, event and member data you enter into the Platform ("Mandal Data"). By using the Platform, you grant Utsav a limited licence to host, process and display that data solely to provide the service to you, including your mandal's public page.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Enter false, misleading or fraudulent donation or financial records;
• Use the Platform to collect funds for unlawful purposes;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another mandal's account or data;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform.

7. Fees, Plans & Access Periods

Utsav offers simple, transparent pricing plans designed specifically for Ganesh Mandals. Here's how our plans work:

7.1 During Your Active Plan Period: You get full access to everything:

• Add unlimited donors and generate unlimited receipts
• Send donation receipts via WhatsApp without any restrictions
• Add, update, and manage all your donations, expenses, events, and member records
• View all reports, analytics, and manage your mandal's public page

7.2 After Your Plan Period Ends (45 or 180 Days):

• View-Only Access: You can still see all your donation records, expense entries, and reports
• Cannot Add or Edit: You won't be able to add new donations, edit existing entries, or delete records
• Data Stays Safe: Your data remains stored and viewable for 1 year (365 days) after your plan ends
• Renew Anytime: If you renew your plan within 1 year, you get full access back immediately
• Download Your Data: You can export all your data (CSV/Excel) even when in view-only mode

7.3 Important Dates to Remember:

• Single Festival Plan: 45 days of full access from the day you purchase
• Multi-Festival Plan: 180 days of full access from the day you purchase
• View-Only Period: 365 days (1 year) after your plan expires
• After 1 Year: Data may be archived and permanently deleted unless you renew

7.4 Payments & Refunds:

• All fees are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are non-refundable except where required by law
• Payment must be made in full before access is granted
• We reserve the right to change our pricing with prior notice
• Existing subscribers will not be affected by price changes during their active plan period

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform if these Terms are violated, if required by law, or to protect the security or integrity of the Platform. You may stop using the Platform and request account closure at any time by contacting us.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Utsav shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including disputes between a mandal and its donors or members.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
